Clinical Evaluation of Apagan Concerning Analgesic Potency and Side Effects

Abstract
|
|
|
Analgesics or antipyretics should have potent analgesic and/or antipyretic action with minimal unwanted side effects.
This study is aimed at evaluating the efficacy and side effects of Apagan as an analgesic for managing various painful conditions experienced in interhal medicine.
The results were as follows:
1.¢¥ Pain relief was possible in 93% (28/30) and unsuccessful in only 7% (2/30) of the cases:
2. Side effects occurred in 6 cases (20%), which comprised headache, anorexia, nausea, indigestion, c izziness.
None of them made the patients to discontinue Apagan¢ç.
3. This result suggests that Apagan¢ç can be safely used as an analgesic with minimal side effects.
